Terms of Service

By accessing or using the SedhaiHub Family Management Platform ("Platform", "Service"), you ("User", "you") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

1. Service Description

SedhaiHub is a family-oriented Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform providing chore management, point tracking, gamification, and related tools for household use. The Service is designed for use by families with parental oversight.

2. User Accounts & Roles

• SuperAdmin: The system administrator with full platform control.
• Adult/Parent: A registered adult family member with administrative family controls.
• Kid/Child: A minor family member whose account MUST be created and supervised by a Parent/Adult.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your PIN, password, and any credentials associated with your account.

3. Parental Consent & Minor Users

By creating a Kid account, the Parent represents and warrants that they are the legal parent or guardian of the minor and consent to the minor's use of the Service. In compliance with:

• USA (COPPA): We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. The Parent account creation flow constitutes verifiable parental consent.
• Australia (Privacy Act 1988): Parents are responsible for ensuring their children understand how the Platform uses their information.
• EU (GDPR, Article 8): For children under 16 (or the age specified by their Member State), parental consent is required for data processing.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or to solicit illegal activities.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service.
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the Platform.
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content.
• Use automated tools to scrape or interact with the Service.
• Misrepresent your identity or relationship to any family member.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• We are NOT responsible for any family disputes, disagreements, or conflicts arising from the use of the points, rewards, or gamification systems.
• We are NOT liable for any data loss, corruption, or unauthorized access resulting from server failures, security breaches, or third-party actions.
• We make NO guarantees regarding server uptime, availability, or uninterrupted service. The Platform may experience downtime for maintenance, updates, or unforeseen circumstances.
• Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount paid by you (if any) in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or AUD $50, whichever is less.

6. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SedhaiGroup, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Platform (including software, text, graphics, logos, and icons) are owned by SedhaiGroup and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

8. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales, Australia.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. Material changes will be communicated via the Platform or email where possible.
